UiTM ECO PARK

The Observatory Tower or “Menara Tinjau” with about 50 m height is planned to be built on top of the highest hill in campus and can be used as a place for visitors to see 360° views of UiTM and surrounding area from atop. It is also suggested to be a place for bird watching activity. Currently, the area identified is only covered with trees as shown in the picture below, thus, it is suitable for the Observatory Tower planning. A road and eco trails will be built so that visitors can reach the tower by car, motorcycle or bicycle.

A parking area for vehicles and bicycle will be built below the tower. A red cycling trail is also planned around the tower to the bottom of the hill for cycling activity. There will be stairs for visitors to go up the tower. In the tower, visitors can enjoy panoramic view of Puncak Alam and those who wish to view several species of birds flying around the campus can rent binoculars from kiosk provided in the tower for RM10 per binocular. Upon rental, visitors need to pass their Identification Card to the officer and claim their cards upon returning.
