UiTM Eco Park can offer a myriad of opportunities for outdoor recreation and enjoyment to active, adventurous visitors as well as to those who simply wish to enjoy the solitude of nature. Various tourist attractions can be planned such as:

 

 

 

Objectives

  1. To promote UiTM Puncak Alam as an ecotourism campus by creating ecotourism attractions around the campus while sustaining its beautiful nature.

  2. To increase awareness on nature preservation and conservation by introducing ecotourism campus.

 

 

Novelty

  1. UiTM Puncak Alam has a great potential to become ecotourism campus because of:

  2. Hills and forestry environment.

  3. The first UiTM campus to commercialize its ecotourism resources.

  4. Special attractions or landmarks which can only be found in UiTM Puncak Alam are Eco Trails, Arts & Sculptures Garden, Top of Universe Steps, and Kodak Moment checkpoints.

 

 

Commercialization Potential

  1. Generate passive income by creating, opening, and introducing new attractions as tourism destination to visitors.

  2. Rent the facilities for education programs and activities such as schools and companies retreat.

  3. Provide job opportunities and chances to students to work part-time and gain experience.

  4. Help students who have done their research in eco-products, these ecotourism spots may be one of the platforms for them to commercialize their products as well.

 

 

Social Responsibility

  1. Raise awareness within the community especially for students and staff on the importance of being responsible and committed to the society and environment.

  2. Foster corporate responsibility through volunteering programs as part of their course program.

  3. Any organizations that interested to contribute to social responsibility of ecotourism project in the campus are welcomed to do so.

  4. Stands as a benchmark for health and quality of life in the university sphere.
